This is for a Vulcan 2400 plasma cutting table that was retrofitted in 2007 with a Wescan systems limited "Profiler" part number PROF0401020301 serial N00099554. Boot OS error "SystemRootSystem32ConfigSAM or its log or alternate. It is corrupt, absent, or not writable" I was able to recover nearly all the files from the drive. I did a "chkdsk /R" on the c partition which corrected errors in the file system, but not sure if it's bootable (customer is an hour away). I'm working on digging up an IDE (PATA) hard drive that's not actively failing to clone this drive to, but I still don't know if it will fix his boot up problem, and I'm afraid that if I do a clean load of windows 2000, it will be difficult to get it set up with all the different devices that need to be loaded for this system to work. I was hoping to find a clean hard drive image with all the drivers and software preloaded for this system. The drive itself is labeled "HDD PROFILER, WINDOWS 2K, REV. 305, ELO TOUCH SCREEN."
The customer's name is Andrew Mullet with WD Outdoor Wood Furnace LLC.
