Good morning Alan,
In reference to our phone call of January 8, 2015 at 11:30 AM about my controller for a Handwheel autopilot.
I am sending the controller into your shop for evaluation and possible repair.
After dropping the unit, one of the wires pulled loose from inside on the circuit board. I re-soldered loose wire with no effect.
I'd appreciate a phone call or email with estimate.

Greetings, I just purchased a vessel with a PH8000 auto pilot. I first tried to commission the unit but had no luck. With the unit on it would occassionally run the hydraulic pump, but only in one direction. I have pulled the system out and have it on the bench. I have accomplished all of the fault diagnosis found in the owners manual. The pump, the feedback and the remote compass pass all of the prescribed tests The voltage measurements at the JA8000 all are correct except in step 5, when the auto button is pressed, there is no increase in voltage and the LED does not light. I have 2 PC800 control heads and the result is the same with each.
Can you help me with this?
